He launched Akros in 2017 as an outgrowth of legacy company Metro Transportation Services, LLC.  Under his leadership, Akros has become a trusted North and South Carolina partner for dedicated and on-demand courier and freight services, having completed over 5M+ miles with an incident rate under 0.0012% and while maintaining an average driver tenure of 4.5 years.

Darrell is a seasoned veteran in the transportation industry, with more than 20 years of experience in various leadership roles. He is a dedicated leader, people-oriented, and solutions-driven.
